Creating Markets
Anyone can create a prediction market for any pump.fun token. There are no gatekeepers — the protocol is fully permissionless.
Step-by-Step
- Enter the token mint address — paste the SPL token address. The system validates it's a real token and shows you a preview with the token name, symbol, and current market cap.
- Choose the market type — Graduate, Mcap Target, or Survive. If an active market of the same type already exists for this token, you'll see a red warning and the Create button will be disabled.
- Set parameters — for Mcap Target, set the target market cap in SOL. For Survive, set the minimum market cap floor.
- Choose expiry — pick from preset durations (6h, 12h, 24h, 48h, 72h) or type a custom number of hours.
- Set keeper reward — the SOL reward paid to whoever resolves the market. Higher rewards incentivize faster resolution.
- Review & Create — check the summary, then confirm the transaction.

The keeper reward goes into the market vault and is paid out to whoever calls the resolve instruction. The account rent is recoverable when the market is fully closed.
