Keeper System

Keepers are the backbone of market resolution. They're simply anyone who calls the resolve_market instruction when a market is ready to be resolved.

How It Works

  • When a market creator sets up a market, they deposit a keeper reward in SOL.
  • This reward sits in the market vault.
  • When the market conditions are met (e.g. token graduated, or market expired), anyone can call resolve.
  • The first person to successfully resolve gets the keeper reward transferred to their wallet.

Incentive Design

Higher Reward

= faster resolution. Bots and users compete to resolve first.

Lower Reward

= may take longer. Suitable for markets where timing isn't critical.

Anyone can be a keeper — you, a bot, or a dedicated resolution service. The protocol is fully permissionless. You can even resolve your own markets.
